Know what class is for you!

We offer courses to meet all your training needs, whether flying a drone for fun, work or research, our Transport Canada TP 15263 compliant training courses will ensure you have the knowledge you need to operate safely and reliably in Canadian airspace. Choose the course that fits your needs from the following.

 

 

Basic Operations consists of the following:

  • You are 14 years old or older
  • You fly in uncontrolled airspace
  • You always stay under 400 feet above ground level
  • You keep your drone in sight at all times
  • You do not fly over people and maintain a minimum of 100 feet horizontal distance away
  • Your drone weighs between 250g-25kg
  • You want to fly day or night

Advanced Operations consists of the following:

  • You are 16 years old or older
  • You want to fly in controlled airspace
  • You always stay under 400 feet above ground level
  • You keep your drone in sight at all times
  • You want to fly over people or you want to fly within 100 feet horizontally from people
  • Your drone weighs between 250g-25kg
  • You want to fly day or night

Special Flight Operations (SFOC) consists of the following, but is not limited to:

  • Flying at an advertised event, such as a concert or parade
  • Your drone weighs  more than 25kg
  • You need to fly above 400 feet ground level
  • You wish to conduct beyond visual line of sight operations
