Advanced RPAS

Course Overview

This course is for anyone wishing to write the Advanced Operations sRPAS Online exam and do the flight review. See the Transport Canada Flight Review Guide and book a flight review with WWFC. You need a Pilot Certificate – Advanced Operations to fly less than 30 m from or over bystanders and fly in controlled airspace with air traffic control approval.   • Restricted Radio Operators Certificate ROC-A
  • Take home study materials
  • Compliant training to TP 15236 knowledge requirements

Prerequisites: None.

Note: Pilots wishing to receive their Advanced Operations RPAS Certificate from Transport Canada must be at least 16 years of age, complete the online exam and pass a flight review.

Cost: $549.00 + HST

Cancellation Policy: We require 14 days cancellation notice prior to your scheduled arrival. A transfer to another class is permitted. Otherwise, no refund will be issued.

2019 Course Dates: Classes are held for two and half days over a weekend or weekdays.

  • April 26, 6pm-10pm; April 27, 8am-5pm; and April 28, 8am-5pm (weekend)
  • May 13, 1pm-5pm; May 14, 8am-5pm; and May 15, 8am-5pm (weekdays)
  • May 31, 6pm-10pm; June 1, 8am-5pm; and June 2, 8am-5pm (weekend)
  • July 26, 6pm-10pm; July 27, 8am-5pm; and July 28, 8am-5pm (weekend)
  • August 19, 1pm-5pm; August 20, 8am-5pm; and August 21 8am-5pm (weekdays)
  • September 27, 6pm-10pm; September 28, 8am-5pm; September 29, 8am-5pm (weekend)
  • October 25, 6pm-10pm; October 26, 8am-5pm; October 27, 8am-5pm (weekend)
  • November 29, 6pm-10pm; November 30, 8am-5pm; December 1, 8am-5pm (weekend)
